Who We Are
Forum for Democratic Futures (FDF) is an independent research organisation dedicated to advancing education, research, and public understanding in the fields of democratic governance, human rights, and global affairs.
In an era marked by misinformation, democratic backsliding, and censorship, FDF works to strengthen the public’s capacity to access reliable information, think critically, and participate meaningfully in civic life.
We are driven by the belief that education and informed dialogue are the foundations of resilient democracies. By producing accessible research, digital publications, and public engagement programmes, FDF seeks to empower individuals—particularly youth and emerging leaders—to challenge disinformation, defend press freedom, and shape a more transparent and accountable world.

Our Mission
Our mission is to turn research and education into action by creating practical solutions that strengthen democracy, promote accountability, and protect open information environments.
Through a blend of independent research, public education, and digital outreach, FDF connects evidence to policy and empowers citizens—especially younger generations—to engage critically with information and participate confidently in civic life.
We aim to bridge the gap between knowledge and impact, ensuring that accurate information and democratic values remain accessible to all.
